is an architect and designer based in Los Angeles who recently completed her MArch at UCLA, graduating with distinction with a focus in entertainment. She draws on her global upbringing and exposure to touch aspects of her practice, which involves the hybridization of different mediums across the field of design. Her works exist at a variety of scales, including large-scale architecture, two-dimensional graphics, and both furniture and jewelry design.
Her ‘Phoenician Reading Table’ has been showcased at the Salone Satellite 2012 in Milan, has received the Student Research Award from Sharjah Islamic Bank, and has been published in the Design Days Book 2013. On the humanitarian front, she has participated in an exhibition showcased alongside UNRWA that involved traveling to and mapping Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan. A strong belief that design can change the world is what drives her passion to do what she does; this has allowed her to work with a host of different mediums that surpass the boundaries of her comfort zone, in the hopes that experimenting can help her refine her design aesthetic.
